Current Volunteer Opportunities
LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS
One of the ways you can make a difference is volunteering in the Patsy Sommer Library. We have a couple of opportunities for you to help out. Below is a little detail about each:
- Shelving Volunteers: With the large number of students and classes passing through the library each day, there are lots and lots of books that need to be checked in and re-shelved. Click HERE to volunteer.
- Book Fair Volunteers: Each year the library hosts two book fairs, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. We need a lot of volunteers to help make this run smoothly. We need folks to help with setup, working the registers and taking down.

CLOTHES CLOSET VOLUNTEERS
Another way you can make a difference is getting involvefd with the Clothes Closet. We have a couple of opportunities for you to help out. Below is a little detail about each:
- Donations: Clean out your closet and make a difference in our community. You can easily dropoff donations into the designated bins at the front doors of Patsy Sommer.
- Volunterring: Sign-up for a shift to help the Clothes Closet unpack, sort, hang clothing and organize. Volunteers may also assist the CC manager behind the counter with the distribution of socks and underwear and the bagging of clothes as needed. Sign-up HERE to volunteer.
